For a powerful dance journey, come to ‘DANCE. Powerful Dance Journeys.’ The music might be harder, faster in parts- and yet carefully chosen… gradually built up to… and sensitively woven into the mix. Facilitating your deeply immersive movement journey in a free, energetic, and profoundly meditative way.
What to expect… a sober rave? More like a conscious dance journey to electronic music. An opportunity for you to drop deeply into yourself and your own way. Here’s a quick-cut, peak-time sampler of the kind of tunes you might hear at DANCE. A similar pace, rhythm and style to this- once we get going!
It takes time to settle in, to warm up to this! And we come back down at the end of the event through some more chilled sounds, too. We go at our own pace.
Perhaps more representative of the event from start to finish than the snippets above- are the few full mixes from recent DANCE events on this webpage (scroll down to find them!).
Of course, the event is different each time. Depending on the people in the room and the mood at the time. No two events are the same- each group a unique experience. Online mixes may provide a taster- but are obviously no substitute for being there, in the real thing.
Here We Are. Present- and moving!
Hypnotic grooves- full-on driving beats- and upfront underground house and techno sounds (and the rest!). Many genres make the weave. There is intensity here… smoothly blended into the live mix for you to bring into form and shape.
To be clear- this event is for dancing! And yet stillness is very welcome, too. You set the rhythm. It’s about giving yourself what you need- a space to be in movement- in the context of dedicated presence… and practising being here.
